Dr. Sukant Khurana has made art celebrating his love of NYC from the point of view of 1000 plus characters (to be put out over 2023 to 2025). These works are physical-digital-AI intersection works. This celebration of the Big Apple is also in the form of murals, large installations, and mixed media large purely physical artworks, which take hundreds of layers. The digital art series is being uploaded and sold as a whole set of each character at a mere $ 3.80, and is managed by Ms. Zeenat Firdaus.

Wen-ke Bing grew up as a lonely single child of Chinese immigrants in Houston. His father was thirty years older than his mom and used to be her Ph.D. guide at Kunming, Yunan, marrying Wen-Ke's mother after divorcing his first wife. Their family had moved to Houston, where his father took up a scientist position, and his mother was a technician at Rice University. Wen-ke was only 6 when he moved to Houston and was initially bullied a lot. Wen-ke sort of kind of dated a hispanic girl in grade 9th, until she found a man with more hair than her on face, and dumped Wen-ke. The next girl he dated was this Indian analyst, who he met after his failed postdoc. He married her, and was starting to regret it, as she was worse than Mike, his neurophysiology Ph.D boss at Baylor, and Peter, his computational neuroscience postdoc boss at NYU. He wanted to kill both his ex bosses for all the right reasons, and the only two decisions Wen-ke was sure of, was to run as far away from academia as possible and to paint. He had studied undergrad, done postdoc, and now was working in the BIg Apple. He wanted to combine all his experiences and join a startup as a co-founder of his friend in making cheaper and better electrophysiological rigs and programs for analysis of neurophysiology data. They were thinking of predicting neurological diseases too but permission from Wen-ke's wife was impossible. It was more likely that the late Chairman Mao would come and sing "This land is your land and this land is my land From California to the New York island" or Chairman Miao, their cat, named so by his wife to piss Wen-ke's family starts to write his incomplete manuscripts than to get Shreshta to say yes to anything Wen-ke wanted. He was trapped, and he knew the marriage would not work but it was not over yet. He called two places home, Houston, and NYC but preferred NYC. He was in his late thirties but when people gave up on their dreams, painting NY, diversity, and sunlight of summers, gave him a hope of second innings. Maybe he will not screw up this time, as he did in choosing to be masochistic in pursuing a Ph.D. and then postdoc and marrying a female reincarnation of Joseph Stalin. He often painted NYC empty, as if this city is a virgin land for him to conquer. Unlike Wen-ke's childhood and teens, videogames were gone from his life, a wife impossible to please, a well paying job, paintings, and occasional trips to Houston. A storm was brewing.
